About AFTS

The premiere global initiative dedicated to fintech in Africa

The AFTS brings the issues, entrepreneurs, and opportunities revolutionizing finance in Africa to the world’s stage. This bi-annual event occurs each April in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the spring meetings of the World Bank and IMF, and each November in a different African city. Our inaugural Lagos Summit, coming in November 2018, will include lively policy debates, global keynotes, investor missions from around the global, site visits, stakeholder meetings, a blockchain masterclass for finance professionals, and a gala dinner and awards banquet. Supported by an advisory board of thought leaders and fintech pioneers, the AFTS is a unique space where ideas are explored, investments mobilized, and collaborations formed across sectors and geographies.
