Payments Association of Zambia (PAYZ)
The payment association of Zambia (PAYZ) was founded in 2018 and subsequently registered in 2019 was recognized in terms of the constitution, being a payment system association registered as such in terms of the Societies Act Of Zambia CAP 119. The Bank of Zambia together with Financial Sector Deepening Zambia (FSDZ) mobile money operator and non bank payment service providers partnered to form the Payment Association of Zambia. The association serves as a joint industry platform from which members are able to collaborate in dealing with various issues of mutual interest including payment systems policy formulation, innovations and the conduct of public and private dialogue.
