Avery Rodriguez is a Partnerships Officer at the U.S. Department of State, where he leads on his office's climate portfolio and manages the Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship Program (CCE). CCE has leveraged millions of public and private sector dollars to scale climate entrepreneurship around the world, and has established seven presently active accelerator programs for green SME's in developing economies. Before State, Avery served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic for over two years, where he taught Spanish literacy and established a preschool, and served as a Founding Member and Member of the Board for Camp Luck, a registered 501c3 that provides learning and experiential opportunities for children born with congenital heart defects. Avery is an avid soccer fan, a passionate nature-lover, and a history buff.
